Brookville is FCN Bank's Headquarters, founded here in 1901. After 12 successful years, FCN's Main Bank building was constructed in 1913 at the corner of 5th and Main Streets in Brookville, Indiana. It has been remodeled many times, and was expanded to include the building directly to the north in the 1970's. In addition to being the main FCN office, it houses FCN's corporate offices and bookeeping for all FCN branch offices..

The building's 2006 renovation of the lobby demonstrates FCN's ongoing committment to providing the most professional financial services possible to the communities we serve, as well as responsiveness to our clients' requests.

Specifically, customers requested more privacy while in the bank, and so all Account Representatives were moved into private offices. When this change was discussed, though, we wanted to insure the friendly, open style of the bank was maintained. To this end, each office included not only windows into the lobby area, but windows between each office as well. On the loan side, the offices not only got a nice makeover, but we now have a much larger closing room. This is much more convenient for those times when many parties or the whole family needs to come to finalize your important financial arrangements. All in all, we think you'll be very pleased with all of the improvements, and we invite you in to see it if you haven't already.

Our new lobby also affords us the ability to host events as part of the larger effort in Brookville to bring people downtown. We have hosted many art exhibitions and other displays, and keep different things in the lobby approximately every two months or so. As part of last year's Canoefest, we hosted a display of news clipping and other artifacts from the original Canoe Races, which occurred in Franklin County from 1963 to 1990. Pictured at right is WCPO-TV Channel 9 Cincinnati's John Popovich with Kelly Leffingwell. John visited the bank with a camera crew prior to the canoe races to see our display.

We look forward to continuing our position as an independent community bank leader in Southeastern Indiana, and satisfying the financial and security needs of our shareholders and customers. We welcome the opportunity to introduce you to the FCN Bank family.
