FCN RENOVATES ITS MAIN BANK LOBBY

In 2006, FCN commenced work on renovating the lobby of the main bank building at 5th and Main in Brookville. In addition to redecorating, significant enhancements to the building were put in place to modernize and improve customer service and privacy.

The first thing you will see as you enter the building, is the improved receptionist desk. FCN Bank has always had someone to greet you at the door of the main bank, and this latest incarnation of the lobby solidifies this tradition with a stylish curved counter.

The account representatives area, which had always been out in the open, was divided into individual offices, providing for customer privacy while discussing their bank business. In order to maintain the open and friendly feel that our customers expect, each office was designed to include much window space.

The new teller line not only has a bit of flair with a 45 degree bend along the line, but also includes space for new state-of-the-art teller computer terminals. Much of the original marble, in the bank since its construction in 1913, was preserved in the lower facing of the teller line.

Also included in the new lobby is what we call the "Gallery Wall", a space where we will display works by local artists, as well as other exhibits like the history of the Canoe Races. Here is a photo taken from a recent display of historical photos of Brookville and Franklin County by Ben Winans.
