Andrew Kobs to head FCN Harrison

Arthur K. Hildebrand, President and CEO of FCN Bank, is proud to announce the hiring of Andrew Kobs as the manager of its new office in Harrison. Located near I-74 at the intersection of New Haven Road and Biggs Boulevard, FCN Harrison is scheduled to open in October.

“When we made the commitment to open a branch office in Harrison, our first priority was to hire a quality staff that is familiar with the Harrison community, as well as Bright, St. Leon, and the other areas that will find FCN Harrison convenient,” says Hildebrand. “FCN prides itself on professional, friendly, and local service to our customers. With the hiring of Andy Kobs, we are confident that we have made a strong start toward that commitment.”

Kobs is very familiar with the Harrison area. He worked in various capacities for Merchants Bank & Trust at its main office in West Harrison over a period of fifteen years, culminating as President. Most recently, he has been serving as President of Citizens Bank, a small community bank located in Edinburg, Illinois. He brings to FCN wide-ranging experience in operations, branch administration, lending, and customer service.

“I look forward to working in the Harrison community again, where I lived and worked for so many years,” says Kobs. “I am excited about this opportunity with FCN Bank, because it has a strong reputation as a well-run, customer-oriented community bank. My wife and I are very happy to be bringing our family back to the Harrison area.”

FCN Bank is a $255 million asset community bank, founded in 1901, in Brookville, Indiana, and now with additional offices in Batesville, Everton, and Sunman. The new bank’s location was selected, in part, by FCN customers themselves, who in a 2006 customer survey, indicated that the area community they most frequented was Harrison.
