FCN Hires Horninger as VP of Commercial Lending
Arthur K. Hildebrand, President and CEO of FCN Bank, is proud to announce that Thomas Horninger has joined the FCN staff as Vice President of Commercial Lending.
Tom is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati and graduated with a BS in Economics in 1982. At Xavier he met his wife Mary, the daughter of Fern and Maurice (deceased) Amrhein of Brookville. In 1984 they were wed in Brookville at St. Michael’s Parish. Tom has had an extensive career in commercial banking. After graduating from Xavier he began his banking career with National City Bank in Toledo. Tom and his family moved to Cincinnati in 1988 where he continued his banking career with US Bank. At US Bank, he held several positions in commercial banking in Cincinnati and Dayton, including District President of the Dayton market. Tom also has experience in Commercial Finance and worked for New Jersey-based, The CIT Group where he worked in a lending unit dedicated to equipment financing for the automotive industry. Since 2001, Tom has worked as a commercial lender and manager of the commercial loan underwriters for Key Bank in Cincinnati.
Tom has been involved in several community organizations. He was a board member for 19 years for Cincinnati-based Center for Children & Families where he also served as Board Chairperson for 5 years. He served on the Audit Committee for Talbert House in Cincinnati. He currently serves as the chair person for Oldenburg Academy’s Finance Committee. He has been active in the Batesville Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and is currently Den Leader for the fourth grade cub scouts.
Tom and his family moved to Franklin County in 1999. His wife Mary is a nurse at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. Tom’s children include Amelia who is a sophomore at Marian College in Indianapolis, Matthew a junior at Oldenburg Academy, Julia who will be joining her brother Matthew at the Academy as a freshman and Decker a fourth grader at St. Louis School in Batesville.
“We are please to add such a friendly and knowledgeable person to our staff, with much expertise in banking and lending,” says Hildebrand. “Tom is a great addition to FCN Bank, and will greatly enhance our abilities in the communities we serve, and help us be successful at our new location in Harrison.”
